George's Carpet Cleaning started and was registered with the state of New Jersey on January 19 1993.

​ I started out using a 10 gallon portable extractor and working part time for the first seven years. 

In 1996 I bought a Truck Mounted Steam Cleaning Machine. A Steam Way Galaxy 4100 Truck Mount that burned kerosene to heat the cleaning water and cleaning solutions to over 200 degrees for Steam Cleaning.  

In 2000 I starting working for myself full time and now 32 years after registering, I'm still in business, but no longer using the Steam Cleaning Method.

In Oct 2019  I switched to a different Carpet Cleaning Method called Low Moisture Cleaning or Soil Extraction Transfer Technology (SETT)

Steam Cleaning
I stopped using the Steam Cleaning Method in October 2019. Too many problems associated with Steam Cleaning.

​George's Carpet Cleaning uses a powerful Truck Mounted Steam Cleaning Machine with water temperatures of 200 degrees for better cleaning and quicker dry times. HWE cleaning consists of a prespray cleaning solution application, scrubbing of the prespray with a CRB, and then the injection under pressure of a hot water rinse solution into the carpet, and then a powerful vacuum extraction system removes the suspended soil, and cleaning solutions. Virtually no residue from the cleaning solutions is left in the carpet and the moisture remaining usually evaporates in 4-8 hours, depending on the type of stains and dirt, humidity, type of carpet, and density of carpet.

​ Any cleaning solution left in the carpet will crystallize into microscopic crystals, and leave no soil attracting residue. The microscopic crystals can be vacuumed up anytime after the carpet dries. All cleaning solutions are environmentally friendly, and leave your carpet cleaner, and healthier.

Low Moisture Cleaning (LMC) - Soil Extraction Transfer Technology (SETT)

In 2012 George's Carpet Cleaning added another carpet cleaning method called (LMC) Low Moisture Cleaning.  I was using two methods for seven years but switched to all LMC in 2019


LMC is not recommended for Restaurant/Diner Carpet or heavily soiled TRASHED carpet. They need to be Steam Cleaned.


Residential Carpet Cleaning - LMC uses a encapsulating detergent that is sprayed on the carpet. A CRB scrubs the carpet, breaking away soil from the carpet fiber. The soil gets encapsulated in the detergent, and then a Oscillating Pad Machine (OP Machine) with Cotton or Microfiber Bonnets is used to absorb and extract the soil that's encapsulated in the detergent. The carpet usually dries in 1 - 4 hours, depending on types of stains, and dirt, humidity, type of carpet, and density of carpet. LMC uses 50% less water than Steam Cleaning.

Any cleaning solution left in the carpet will crystallize into microscopic crystals, and leave no soil attracting residue. The microscopic crystals can be vacuumed up at anytime after the carpet dries. All cleaning solutions are environmentally friendly, and leave your carpet cleaner, and healthier.

There are no hoses to trip over, no open doors, no security issues, and no loud running machines. The procedure is quiet, and efficient. You get Cleaner, Drier, Carpet.
